Besides, the Alpine territory of Livigno is the flagship of the Alta Rezia, one of the largest international areas dedicated to fat wheels and feauturing over 3200 km of GPS mapped trails practicable on foot or by bicycle. Livigno offers MTB trails for everyone, from experts to newbies. Professional people of DOWNHILL and FREERIDE can enjoy the Mottolino Bike Park choosing among routes of various levels at 2400 metres.
TREKKING
A great excursion ring deep in nature awaits you in Livigno and Trepalle.
All you ‘ll need is a pair of boots and a backpack.
Among the many paths, the close “Vallaccia” guarantees a pleasant and healthy walk up to mountain pasture, where you can buy the genuine products of the farmers.
Who wants to continue the path can reach the summit of Filone Mount, then go down and choose as the destination between Mine Valley, (Livigno) and Viola Valley (Bormio)where we recommend a visit to farm holidays “CARICC.”
Another interesting excursion, close to the hotel, is Trela Valley: an easy path leads to farm holidays “Trela”. From here, mountain lovers can continue to Cancano Lakes.
FISHING
Foscagno Pass is one of the favoured destinations of fishing enthusiasts. There are two natural Alpine lakes with picnic area and a breathtaking view over Bormio Valley and surrounding mountains.
THE BERNINA RED TRAIN
The Bernina Express Train became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, is the only Swiss railway that crosses, from south to north, the Alps in the open sky.
Thanks to an altitude over 1800 m (between Tirano and Bernina Ospizio), it offers breathtaking views over majestic mountains, glaciers, valleys and alpine peaks.
LARIX PARK
An adventure park in a millenary larch forest with 5 long paths between the trees, suitable for all (already 3 years old), where you can fun crossing trunks, Nepalese bridges, lianas and wooden walkways at 18 m suspended in air. Qualified guides will help you to overcome their fears to immerse yourself in a new and exciting natural park.
MOTO
Livigno Road is characterized by its twists that like a lot of motorcyclists. They ‘ll be able to also follow various routes such as the panoramic Stelvio Road, Forcola Pass near the Swiss border, Bernina Pass, Sankt Moritz or Bormio, known for its thermal waters.
CHILDREN IN TREPALLE
Near the hotel, there is a sports center, where families with children can enjoy fun’s afternoons.
In the evening there are village festivals with barbecues and dancing late into the night; the most famous one is St. Anna (the Saint Patron of Trepalle) on 26th July.
